The Principle
Radio transmission made by STEINEL. The transmitters detect the heat emission of moving objects; i.e. people, cars etc. In turn the collected signals are transmitted to a receiver. The receivers are integrated into plug-in wall outlet receivers, chimes and halogen fixtures, which collect the signals transmitted and in turn switch lights or alarms for the period of time set – and this all within distance of up to 50 metres (approx 165ft); even through brick and glass.
