1. Key details

1.1. The title of the prize draw is [Carmarthen Calibration Day 1220 Prize Draw].

1.2. Customers who enter the prize draw in accordance with clause 2.2 below will be entered into a prize draw to win the prize specified at clause 3.1 below.

2. How to enter

2.1. The prize draw will run from [07:00am] on [09/11/2020] (the "Opening Date") to [05:30pm] on [13/11/2020] (the "Closing Date") inclusive ("Promotional Period").

2.2. To enter the prize draw, entrants must:

2.2.1. have a CEF Trade Account registered at any of the following branches: Reading Group: [Carmarthen]

2.3. CEF account holders who make a purchase of the one Calibration during the Promotional Period will automatically be entered into the prize draw.

2.4. All prize draw entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 17:30 on the Closing Date. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

2.5. The Promoter will not accept:

2.5.1. responsibility for entries that are lost, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. For example, if for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when making a purchase of the Qualifying Product online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete purchases and any incomplete purchases will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw.

2.8. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on [13/11/2020] ("Draw Date").

3. The prize

3.2. Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the Prize but the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

3.3. The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.

4. Winners

4.1. The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, using the telephone number or email address associated with the CEF online account used to make the purchase of the Qualifying Product.

4.2. If the Promoter has not had any response within 7 calendar days following its notification to the winner that they have won the Prize ("Winner's Notification") the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date. Where the Promoter selects an alternative winner in accordance with this clause 4.2, the original winner's rights to claim the Prize will be extinguished

4.3. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the original winner is not able to take up the Prize.

4.4. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

4.5. The first name and town or county of the winner of the prize draw will be announced by email as soon as practicable after the winner has been confirmed.

4.6. The Prize will be delivered to the postal address associated with the CEF online account used to make the purchase of the Qualifying Item (if applicable) or to an address notified by the winner to the Promoter within 28 days of the Promoter issuing the Winner's Notification.

4.7. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of the winner.

4.8. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if:

4.8.1. the winner is not able to take up the Prize; or

4.8.2. any customer is unable to enter the prize draw due to inadequate stock of the Qualifying Product.

5. Eligibility

5.1. The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:

5.1.1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;

5.1.2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or

5.1.3. members of the immediate families or households of the persons listed at clauses 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 above.

5.2. In entering this prize draw, all entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require any entrant to provide proof of their eligibility to enter the prize draw.

5.3. The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that are:

5.3.1. automatically generated by computer;

5.3.2. completed by third parties or in bulk;

5.3.3. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;

5.3.4. are not submitted in accordance with clause 2 above; or 5.3.5. incomplete.

5.4. There is a limit of one entry to the prize draw per day. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

5.5. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.

6. Limitation of liability

6.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.

6.2. Statutory rights are not affected by this clause 6.

7. Data protection and publicity

7.1. If you are the winner of the prize draw, you agree that the Promoter may use your first name and town or county of residence to announce you as the winner of this prize draw and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

7.2. By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the prize draw entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the prize draw.

8. General

8.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude an entrant from participating in the prize draw.

8.2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

8.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
