We are proud and delighted to be announced as the winner of the Multinational Wholesaler of the Year category at Northern Ireland’s Electrical Awards 2021.

On receiving the award, Northern Ireland Group Manager Tommy Barrett said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be winners of the multinational wholesaler of the year. I’m proud to be here on behalf of all the staff of CEF Northern Ireland.”

When asked why he thought they won the award, Tommy replied: “Firstly, quality staff across the store network is number one. Number two is supplier relationships, and also I do think that the vision of the company to move with our customer base, and give them what they need, for example, by investing heavily in CEF online.”

On presenting the award, TV and Radio presenter Adrian Logan spoke about CEF putting customers at the heart of its business and praised our commitment to investing in e-commerce and our Trade App. He also said that what made our entry stand out was our commitment to charity, and our support to the next generation of electrical apprentices.

Nominated for our commitment to ‘always go above and beyond’, CEF submitted details of our high-quality customer service which has earned the company an ‘Excellent’ rating by Trustpilot (score of 4.6/5 based on 7,771 reviews) and secured it the #2 position in the UK Electrical Wholesale market in early 2021.
