Blacklight blue bulbs emit only a limited spectrum of violet light, which causes materials with phosphorescent reactive properties to glow. Whilst they’re great to install to create fun lighting effects, blacklight blue bulbs have a range of practical applications. Use them to reveal fluorescent hand stamps, identify areas that need closer cleaning or spot hard-to-see leaks in pipes and cracks in machinery.
