Heatwave delivery update

The Met Office has issued a Red Extreme Heat Warning for parts of the UK, with very high temperatures expected to affect travel, transport and working conditions.

Our courier partners are taking extra precautions to keep their teams safe while they continue to deliver orders. This may mean some deliveries take longer than usual, especially in areas affected by the warning.

We know delays can be frustrating when you’ve got a job to crack on with, and we’re doing everything we can to keep things moving.

What this means for your order

We’re continuing to process orders as normal, but some deliveries may be delayed due to the current weather conditions.

This could include:

  • later-than-usual delivery times

  • delays to next-day deliveries in affected areas

  • changes to courier routes or delivery schedules

  • possible knock-on delays while temperatures remain high

Your courier tracking information will be updated as soon as more details are available.

Why deliveries may take longer

The safety of delivery teams comes first. During extreme heat, couriers may need to adjust their working patterns, take extra breaks, avoid the hottest parts of the day or make changes to routes.

These steps help keep drivers, depot teams and everyone handling deliveries safe.
