Description

You must complete the online learning before attending your face to face course, as this will focus on the updates online and you will be sitting the examination at the end of the session.

This offer combines the NICEIC’s Full 18th Edition online course with their one day 18th edition classroom update course providing you with the best of both! This flexible offer allows you to complete your learning at your own pace through the NICEIC’s online learning and also provides you with the choice of a one day update course at a location and date of your choice.

The one day update course will also include your examination so be sure to take a copy of BS 7671:2018 and photographic ID.

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for people working in the electrotechnical industry and having completed their 17th edition training prior to 3rd Amendment 2015. There are no formal entry requirements to attend this course however candidates should have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and the principles of electrical installation work.

Description

This course will teach electrical contractors how to install electrical vehicle charging points in compliance with BS 7671, the Electrical Safety Quality and Continuity Regulations and the new IET Code of Practice.

The course will cover the requirements of BS 7671 concerning the updated section on electrical vehicle charging points, and the IET Code of Practice on Electric Vehicle Charging. Also, current government and funding strategies will be addressed.

By the end of the course, candidates will understand how to install these points in compliance with BS 7671, the Electrical Safety Quality and Continuity regulations and the new IET Code of Practice.
